Hello, We are happy to inform you that you can now pay your AWS invoices using your ACH-enabled US personal or business bank account. What you need to know When your invoice is generated, AWS will send you the invoice details, including the date your bank account will be debited. We will give you at least 10 days notice before debiting your bank account for your monthly AWS invoices. We will never automatically debit your bank account before the invoice due date. You can use your bank account to pay all AWS invoices except Training, AWS Professional Services, Marketing, and non-US dollar invoices, which you must pay using an Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) as indicated on those invoices. To use this payment method Click on the link below to add your ACH-enabled US personal or business bank account. You will need your bank routing number, account number, billing address and Driver’s License number (for personal accounts) or Federal Tax ID number (for business accounts) to add a bank account. We will send you an email confirmation when your bank account has been successfully added to your AWS account. To add a bank account, please visit: https://console.aws.amazon.com/billing/home?#/paymentmethods Need more information or help? * You can use any personal or business account provided your account is ACH enabled and located at a branch in the U.S. * Routing numbers are always 9 digits long. Account numbers may be up to 17 digits long. Some banks list the routing number first on the check, while other banks list the account number first. * In case your bank account has ACH debit blocked, please work with your bank to authorize AWS to post ACH debit to your account. AWS Company Identification (ID) number is 9049016352. If you have additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact us: https://aws.amazon.com/contact-us/ This feature is a beta release, and your use is subject to Section 1.10 (Beta Service Participation) of the AWS Service Terms: https://aws.amazon.com/service-terms/ Sincerely, Amazon Web Services Amazon Web Services, Inc. is a subsidiary of Amazon.com, Inc. Or Another Sad Chapter In The De-Evolution of Yahoo As we announced on April 20th, Flickr has agreed to be acquired by SmugMug, the photography platform dedicated to visual storytellers. SmugMug has a long history of empowering people who love photography and who want to improve their craft, making them a perfect fit for Flickr and our creative community. Nothing will change immediately with regard to your Flickr account. The Flickr product and brand will live on under SmugMug ownership. You will still access the same Flickr you know and love at www.flickr.comand via our mobile apps. SmugMug and Flickr will remain separate brands and you will continue to have options for free and Pro Flickr accounts. Until we notify you otherwise, you will continue to use your current login credentials. As a result of the acquisition, Flickr accounts will be governed by SmugMug’s Terms of Service for Flickr and Privacy Policy for Flickr. The Terms of Service and Privacy Policy of Flickr’s current owner, Oath (formerly Yahoo), will not apply to the use of Flickr after the acquisition. You have until May 25, 2018 to review SmugMug’s Terms and Privacy Policy. If you do nothing in that time, your account will simply transition to SmugMug’s Terms of Service for Flickr and Privacy Policy for Flickr after the acquisition. If you do not consent to SmugMug’s Terms and Privacy Policy, you will need to delete your Flickr account through your Account Settings. If you want to preserve a copy of your photos, be sure to download them from your Camera Roll first. Read more detailed FAQs about this transition on the Flickr Blog. We’re happy that Flickr is your home for photography and we look forward to the next chapter in our adventure together as we join the SmugMug family. Thanks, The Flickr Team Summer '18 is here! Step 1. Download three separate free virus protection programs. It doesn't matter which three. It is to set up a fight between them for your elusive security dollar. Step 2. Monitor the mayhem between them. As they fight it out amongst themselves, any cyber attacks upon your computer are gobbled up in the process. Step 3. Let them all live on your computer and resolutely deny them any upgrades or additional sign-ups. Yes it will impact your boot times. So will buying a fancy firewall that you pay and pay for. The above virus control method will trap would-be virus and ransomware attacks in a three-way pincer movement of desperate security firms vying for your money. But cheapskate that you are, wave your cash in their noses but ne'er part with the least farthing! |
